September: “Exploring Sound & Image: Short Works in Experimental Film”
Blood Portal
A man falls into a mysterious portal and awakens to find himself lying by the side of a bridge, with no memory of his previous life and now convinced he is the Early American photographer Edward S. Curtis. “Blood Portal” works within the landscape of dreaming to link together a series of unfolding vignettes, exploring the concept of healing oneself through Nature’s gifts. With a voice-over by Isabella Rossellini.
